The Salvation Army, Columbia Place Mall and Coca Cola Help Children Get Ready For a New School Year
The Columbia 411
The start of a new school year should be an exciting time of year for children. But that is not always the case. Because many children living in poverty may not have new clothes for the beginning of the year, The Salvation Army, Columbia Place Mall and Coca Cola have team up to help. Through Clothes for Kids, children from the Midlands will be provided with clothes they need to start the school year with confidence and vitality.
100 children are already registered. The Salvation Army is in need of shoppers, volunteers and donations to make sure each child on their list will receive something.
To help, contact the Salvation Army at 803-765-0260.
