Back to School Bash 2008 Pictures

Columbia’s gospel radio station, WFMV Gospel 95.3 FM, held its Back-to-School Bash at  H. Rubin Vision Center at The Village of Sandhill Saturday, August 2.

Each year, WFMV asks its listeners to send  letters explaining why a family they know should be chosen to receive a back-to-school pack. From these letters, 10 lucky winners are chosen. This years’ Back-to-school giveaway included: school supplies, a free eye exam and a pair of glasses( H. Rubin Vision Center) if needed, free teeth cleaning (Davis and Dingle Dentistry) , clothing gift certificates (Fashions Unlimited), hair cuts (Pups Barber Shop) and Hair Styling (Hair Glory Perfection) certificates, movie passes and coupons to McDonalds Sonic restaurants.

The 2008 WFMV Back-to school Bash drew 110 people from around the Midlands.
